The AMS has 6 Doctors currently available on staff allowing the flexibility of male or female consults. Doctor services are available to both Aboriginal & Non Aboriginal clients through the hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4:30pm Friday.

The Griffith AMS does provide a home visiting service at the discretion of Clinical Staff, however, if transport is an issue for our Aboriginal clients please inform reception at the time you make your appointment and transport may be provided. We have six appointments per GP reserved each day for Aboriginal Clients ONLY. We ask that you please contact reception the morning you wish to book the appointment at 8am. Telehealth appointments are also available for regular clients who have seen a doctor at our service in person within the last six months. These appointments allow you to speak with your doctor over the phone. To book a Telehealth appointment, please advise Reception at the time of making your appointment.

 

A current Medicare card is required upon initial consultation. There is a consultation fee of

$80 is applicable if a Medicare card is not presented.

*As of 1st of January 2026 consultation fee will increase to $100 for non-Medicare clients*
